A time to pause and remember why we have what we have. God bless all the people that have served.
Hope everyone has a very nice weekend! It’s going to be a hot one here at Western Reserve Butler’s Pantry. I can’t even imagine the troops in the Middle East wearing such heavy gear in that heat. I’ll try my best to remember that when I start to whine about how hot it is. Once it gets to 90 or above I enter into my uncontrollable complaining mode.
Best,
Kathy
Kathy,
We happen to be in Austin this past Memorial Day. There was an amazing and touching display of small flags near the Capital representing every military person that has given his/her life during this past many year’s war. There is so much to be thankful for living in this country.

For some reason it’s the small simple displays that really touch my heart. The people I know have all been very modest about their military experience. I miss humility.
