This has been one of those busy days. The kind when you fly around doing all the things you think about getting to but put off until marathon mood kicks in. I’ve had this material for a little while. I’ve been wanting to add a bit of color to the living room for summer. It tends to have a rather masculine feel in there. I like that feeling for the cold months, but once the weather turns warm the need for change happens over night, and I mean over night! Yesterday I loved you, today you’re out of here. I used to find notes in my kids rooms “Mom don’t throw this out”. Let’s just say I can get on a roll.
Here’s Coco saying “Please whatever you do don’t clean out the biscuit jar!”
“The jar is getting kind of low, in case you haven’t noticed.”

Hi Kathy! Great post and I love your red and white and vintage items in the kitchen. I’m pretty sure that I left a comment on your last post (or maybe before that) you might want to check your spam box. Have a nice day and thank you for stopping by.

Hi Clara!
Has anyone ever mentioned you have the perfect name? Your lovely blog just looks like your name should be Clara. I did get your comment a couple posts back. I probably made a mistake when I replied to you. I apologize! Let’s just say I’m not exactly a wiz when it comes to blogging. Thank you and have a wonderful week too.

Hi Kathy,
I’m the same way…there is a seasonal sensibility that strikes and I’m a girl on a mission with changes. Love your kitchen vignette.
Love your Coco…my Madison is part Jack Russell and part Border Terrier.
Karen
Hi Karen,
I keep wanting to mention how cute Madison is! I love the photo of her resting in, I believe it was, a flower bed. She has one of those cute faces that shows expression. Oh yes, I’m an all or nothing girl. Thank you for stopping by and your kind words.
Coc is adorable! I know what you mean about those seasonal changes. It just feels right to freshen up. I painted my front door pale pink last week on a whim. Now I am wondering how that is going to feel to me come October, haha.
Of course I meant to type Coco.
Oh a pink front door, how fun! Now you have me thinking. I started picturing it in the fall and I think it would be great. I love brown and pink together. You know you could go with that real rich Ralph Lauren paisley look…pinks, reds amd brown. Coco’s in time out right now. She’s racing all over making a mess in my garden chasing chipmunks and moles.
Best,
Kathy
